STEM DESIGN & PHOTOGRAPHY is an extension to the Design & Discovery class. Students will be building on the skills learned to take innovation to the next level. They will further develop 21st century skills and explore visual communication through photography and design. Collaboration, creative, and critical thinking will be essential components to the class throughout the semester. Students will be exploring camera basics, photography careers, techniques, and concepts. They will be using the design cycle to further develop their design skills through photography. Digital cameras, smart phones, and iPads/tablets are all acceptable equipment for this course. Any 10th, 11th, or 12th grade STEM student can take this course. Pre-requisite: Design & Discovery.
